Author Tina Baine is pleased to announce the publication of her book, AROMASTORY: The Overlooked History of an Underdog Town. If you are not that familiar with the rural town of Aromas (pop. 2,500), it sits on the eastern edge of the Pajaro Valley, and its history has never been fully explored until now. Under the jurisdiction of three separate counties, the town has always struggled to be recognized and supported. Its relative isolation, however, has kept the town bucolic and liveable for decades. Baine’s book is about the people who have been drawn to Aromas and how the town fits into the larger story of the beautiful coastal region of Monterey Bay. For more information visit www.aromastorythebook.com.
